About us
From humble beginnings in 1992, Applegreen started with the opening of our first service station in Ballyfermot, Dublin, Ireland. From there, under the stewardship of Chairman Bob Etchingham and CEO Joe Barrett, Applegreen expanded in Ireland, the UK and the US, growing year on year.
The Group has a growing international presence employing over 15,000 across Ireland, the UK and the US. The Group has grown to over 600 sites as of January 2023, across Ireland, United Kingdom, and United States.
Our US locations across the Mid-west, the Northeast and the Southeast offer an extensive range of favourite food brand offers including Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Starbucks, Dunkin, Shake Shack, Burger King, Pret, Panera, Panda Express, Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon and many more.
At Applegreen, our locations are distinguished by our exceptional convenience stores that offer a wide selection of beloved snacks, beverages and candy. We provide premium food and hot beverage options at all of our locations, delivered through our own Applegreen brand as well as internationally recognized food brands.
