Does Applegreen offer franchising opportunities?
We don’t operate franchises in the traditional sense, but dealer partnerships are available for existing forecourt owners.

Do you have a fuel quality guarantee?
Yes, all of our fuel is 100% traceable and quality-assured. Any issues raised are investigated and resolved.
Do you charge extra for card payments?
No. At Applegreen we don’t apply any surcharges with credit or debit card payments.

Shops at most Applegreen locations in Ireland are open 24/7, especially in motorway service areas. Smaller local shops may operate from 7am – 10 pm.

Yes, all Applegreen locations have toilets. Motorway sites have accessible and baby changing facilities that are open 24/7.

You can use air for tyres at most of our locations for a small charge.
Do your shops have ATMs?
Yes, nearly all locations have ATMs, especially our motorway service areas and larger sites.

Can I get cashback at the till?
We are unable to offer cashback at most of our locations. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
Do you sell lottery tickets or gift cards?
Yes, National Lottery tickets and a variety of gift cards are available at most Applegreen shops.
Is there free Wi-Fi at Applegreen locations?
Yes, absolutely. Free Wi-Fi is available at motorway service areas and many larger locations.

What food brands are available?
Brands including Braeburn, The Bakewell, Burger King, Subway, Chopstix, Greggs, Taco Bell, Popeyes and M&S Food are available at Applegreen.

Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?
We do. These include veggie sandwiches, vegan soups, vegan sausage rolls, vegetarian soup ( The Bakewell Kitchen & Deli – however, soup is location-dependent), plant-based sandwiches (Subway) and plant-based burgers (Burger King).

Do you have gluten-free options?
We do. These include gluten-free snacks, salads and some hot meals. However, these options are limited and our kitchens are not 100% gluten-free.
Where can I find allergen information?
You’ll find this information at our food counters and online from our partner brands.
Do you offer non-dairy milk for coffee?
Oat milk is available at all our self-service locations. Oat, coconut, almond and soya milk are available at all cafés.
Do you have a coffee loyalty or refill programme?
Yes. It is available through our Braeburn Cafés. Buy seven coffees and get the eighth one free of charge.
Are there seasonal coffee flavours available?
We always have vanilla, caramel and hazelnut available at our self-service locations. From time to time, we also have a seasonal flavour available. Our Braeburn Cafés have an extensive range of flavours available. Check the Braeburn Instagram for our latest seasonal specials (@braeburncoffee).
What should I do if I’m unhappy with a meal?
We hope this never happens but, if it does, you can speak to the manager on site or contact us at info@applegreen.com.
Driver Services
What types of fuel do you offer?
We offer petrol and diesel at all of our locations, with AdBlue, gas oil, and HVO available at many others.

Do you sell AdBlue?
Yes. AdBlue is available at the pump and in containers at most Applegreen locations.

Do you accept fuel cards?
We do. These include Applegreen Fuel Card, DCI, Allstar, UTA and others.
How long can I park for free?
There is no charge for parking at Applegreen, but we do encourage a fair usage policy of no more than two hours.
What are your HGV or overnight parking charges?
There is no charge for HGV and overnight parking.
Can I park my caravan or campervan overnight?
Yes. There is no charge for overnight parking with caravans or campervans.
Do you have showers available?
Showers are available at some of our motorway service areas.

How much does a shower cost to use?
Showers are free to use, but there is a refundable deposit required for key or towel use at some locations.

Do you offer campervan/caravan dumping stations or electrical connections?
No, sorry, we don’t have those facilities available at our Applegreen locations.
Is assistance available for disabled drivers?
Yes, via the FuelService app or by calling ahead. Our colleagues will assist you at the pump.

How long does it take for pre-authorised payments to be returned?
This depends on your type of card and your bank. The funds are usually returned within 2 – 14 days. However, in some cases this can be immediate.
